☞ SHOP: Other Windows for Verizon Building
Ever since the old Verizon office building at 148 West 125th Street started renovations for its conversion to a retail space, we were wondering if those dated amber mirror windows would go away. The lower photo shows the current state of the facade this week and all the window have indeed been removed. What lies underneath is actually a much older building which was converted sometimes in the 1980s so hopefully the new owners will come up with something more classic this time around. The office space just east of ACP/7th Avenue was sold for $6.3 million a year ago and the new owners are looking for retailers now to anchor the renovated space: LINK
