☞ DWELL: Tuition Incentives at PS90

A press release received this week has it that the developers of PS90 announced a new tuition incentive of $1,000 per unit for buyers who sign new contracts by September 30th.

PS90 is the redevelopment of a circa 1905 elementary school, and this incentive pays homage to the building’s history. Developers note that the incentive is recommended for school-related activities, such as taking a class or adding to a college fund. The incentive will be given as a credit after the buyer provides a bill or receipt for their school-related expenses incurred within three months of closing on a contract.

So how is the adaptive reuse condo at 220 West 148th Street doing these days? Out of the 75 residences which are a mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom homes, only 9 units remain.  PS90 is now over 85% closed or under contract, with the remaining units ranging from approximately 762 to 1,315 square feet in size and $425,000 to $755,000 in price. Three penthouse one bedroom apartments remain with private terraces of approximately 135 square feet. For more information, visit: www.ps90condo.com
