☞ READ: Aldi to Arrive at East River Plaza

Crain's reports that the German discount supermarket chain called Aldi has its eye on opening their first Manhattan branch in East Harlem. The location would be the East River Plaza which is already known for having a Target and Costco at the East 116th Street location. Apparently Aldi is a major retailer with over 1,000 locations in the United States and the proprietors happen to also own Trader Joe's but are not involved in the stateside operations of that notable brand of grocery stores. 1. Aldi's is awesome. It's owned by the same company that owns Trader Joe's. Great prices and selection. Just wish they were putting it in a more convenient location.

  2. That's good. But I only go to the target and mall center in south bronx right over 145th bridge. It's quicker do to traffic along 125th and it has tends to have free street parking
