☞ REVIVE: Last Ones Going Down at Kimco Site

The smaller buildings on the Kimco development site at FDB and 125th Street have all been demolished and now two taller buildings facing the street corner are quickly being taken down. Outside of the Manhattanville campus site, there has not been much as far as major demolition going on so this new 60,000 square foot retail building will be one to watch for in the near future.  There still have not been any images published of the proposed new construction and no clear estimate on when it will actually break ground. More details on this development site can be found in our past post: LINK

  1. Along with the Victoria theatre, Harlem’s main street is being transformed. For those nostalgic for the past, a lot of 125th street is currently low rise cheap construction not to be missed. This corner building is however a real loss. But I do regret the displacement of Bobby’s Happy House.
