Saturday, September 10th, 2:00 PM, Colonial Silhouette Portrait Family Workshop at the Museum of the City of New York, 1220 Fifth Avenue at 103rd Street. Create your own colonial-inspired portrait silhouettes! Silhouettes were a popular decorative art form in the 1800s, and examples with a contemporary twist can be seen in the Museum's current exhibition. Children will first practice line-drawn portraits and then create and frame their own cut-paper silhouettes. Free with Museum Admission: LINK
