☞ READ: MIST Culture Center at the Kalahari
The Wall Street Journal reports today that the promised cultural center at the Kalahari will proceed as planned after some delay. A 20,000-square-foot space called My Image Studios (MIST) will be opening in the near future after financing has finally been secured. This new arrival at 40 West 116th Street will focus on African and Hispanic arts so the reported negotiations with Telemundo to work on programing out of the space appears to be a good fit. Outside of the post production studio and the 317-seat theater, there is also room for for a 7,000-square-foot restaurant. Read more about it in today's Journal: LINK
