☞ REMEMBER: The House at 113th & St. Nicholas
Another undated photo probably over a century old shows an old wood frame house that used to reside on Harlem Lane at 113th Street. This avenue in South Harlem would later be called St. Nicholas and taller buildings similar to those in the background of the top photo would eventually taker over the remaining open land by the beginning of the 20th century. The lower photo shows this intersection as it looks today.
