An old photo from 1915 showing the property called the Cozy Nook on Broadway and 140th when there had been some open land left in West Harlem. This is probably one of the more decorative stables that we have seen for some time since the mansard roof has contrasting octagonal shingles set in pattern. This entire section of West Harlem now is lined with prewar buildings and open land is very rare outside the park sites. Check out the actual Cozy Nook house in our original post: LINK
