The Emerging NY Architects (ENYA) Committee at the American Institute of Architects (AIA) is hosting an Ideas competition, using the abandoned 135th Street Marine Transfer Station as the site to redevelop. This program has been created using CB9's 197-A plan and other ideas and information compiled by CB9, WEACT and NYCEDC. The competition launched on Sept 27th and entries are due January 16th. Being that this site is slated for re-development, but the process has been stagnant for a long time, ENYA wants to further create interest around the site and park.
