☞ REVIVE: More Action at 117th Street and FDB
The lot at 2171 FDB/8th Avenue had a little activity on it a couple of weeks back when a new sidewalk was added out front and now it appears that the site is progressing along even further. A reader sent in a photo yesterday showing a few workers on the corner parcel of land at 117th Street and it appears that the grounds are being dug up at this point in time. One tip in the past mentioned that a flea market might arrive sometimes in the future but nothing has really been substantiated at this point in time. This particular piece of land had been neglected for so long and has finally been cleaned up but the reason for all of the sudden activity is still a bit mysterious.

Strange. Not sure what to make of the flea market thing. Some 'markets' consist pretty much of cheap junk and fake t-shirts.
ReplyDeleteChris, not to be pedantic about it, but what is a fake T-shirt? Is it a tank top masquerading as a T-shirt?
ReplyDeleteSibling of the fake hand bag.
ReplyDeletei happened to be walking by this morning and was handed a flyer announcing that the flea market would be coming soon. no date is set, but their calling it "the harlem treasure chest"
