☞ SHOP: Metro PCS Arriving on Lenox
A reader sent in a photo of 293 Lenox Avenue which formerly housed a beauty salon but will now be the new home of Metro PCS. The ubiquitous cell phone provider will now be making its presence in Central Harlem, just north of 129th Street and is another more commercial element arriving recently. A Little Caesars Pizza is also opening on Lenox just a couple of blocks south so there seems to be a mixing of better establishments and mass commercial retailers (that are usually seen on 125th Street) making its way to this part of Harlem.

I wish we could get a decent regular pizzaria in Central Harlem instead of a nasty Little Caesars!
ReplyDeleteWhat is it with Metro PCS and Gourmet Delis? Taking over Harlem!
ReplyDeleteLittle Caesars of the $5 large pie? (or something to that affect). I see those boxes everywhere!
ReplyDeleteBlech!
ReplyDeleteDoes Bad Horse Pizza do takeaway? Has anyone had their pizza?
ReplyDeleteI've had it Sanou's Mum and whilst it was really good, I think we ended up doing nearly $40 on a pizza and piddly little salad. i.e it ain't cheap! To be fair though, they have a fantastic happy hour deal for cheese pizza and a couple of beers.
ReplyDeletePhenomenal pizza, SM. Really, really amazing, and honestly worth the splurge. They deliver and do takeaway. We've only ever done delivery (a few times), and it's been hot, fresh, and fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThat said, I AM still excited about the Settepani pizza place that is hopefully still in the works on Lenox!
Oops. I'm another Chris ("Christopher" typically). Sorry for the confusion with the regular Chris!
ReplyDeleteBoth Chris, thanks. Not about to spend $40 on a pizza, though.
ReplyDeleteOriginal Chris-- not holding my breath on Sett. Pizza place opening. Zero signs of activity.
