☞ REVIVE: More Progress at Baptist Temple
It has taken a couple of years for the Baptist Temple Church to finally start getting repairs made to its collapsed building but now things look to be moving rather quickly. We noticed the previous week that the frame of the roof seemed to have been the only thing constructed on site this year at the 116th Street location but now more progress has happened. Walking by the former Jewish temple located between 5th and Lenox Avenue this weekend, we noticed that the roof has basically now been constructed and the historic building will be partially protected from the elements going forward. A lot still has to happen before the facade is fully restored but all seems to coming together at this point in time.
