Friday, January 20th, Red Tails movie debut in Harlem, AMC Magic Johnson Theater, 2309 FDB/8th Avenue and 124th Street. The film based on the World War II Tuskagee airmen will be showing at Harlem own AMC Theatre starting this weekend.  For more details and times, check out the Fandango page: LINK

Saturday, January 21st, 1:00 PM, Freedom Songs at the Dwyer Cultural Center, 258 St. Nicholas Avenue and West 123rd Street.  Oscar-and-Grammy nominated IMPACT Repertory Theatre examines the history of civil rights in America through song, dance and spoken word. Saturday, January 21st, 10:00 PM, Zemog El Gallo Bueno at Shrine,   2271 Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard (7th Avenue), between 133rd and 134th Street. Zemog El Gallo Bueno plays 21st Century Latin music, reflecting all of the contradictions and cultural tensions of what it means to be Latin in America. Who, What, Wear looks at evolutions in style—self-expression, fashion, artistic technique and societal ideals of beauty—as seen through the Studio Museum’s permanent collection. Sunday, January 22nd, 7:30 PM, Hit Me With The Music at Maysles Cinema, 343 Lenox Avenue at 127th Street. 30 years after Bob Marley's death Jamaica continues to be on top of the world-wide music scene. Reggae has evolved to produce a new genre, Dancehall.
