☞ EAT: Frederick's Cafe Arriving on FDB

The rumors circulating earlier this year about another cafe moving into the shutter Society Coffee space on the lower FDB corridor all appears now to be true.  Signs have now been posted on the window at the shop facing the corner of West 114th Street and Frederick's Cafe appears to be the name of the new establishment.  We mentioned back in January that a tip from a reader who spoke to one of the successful business owners in the area mentioned he would open up a new restaurant at that space: LINK.  Apparently the guys of the popular Bier International located just across the street have had their eyes out on the space and have now made major moves in making things happen.  As far as the look of the new space goes, we hope the respectable logo design is a sign of things to come.
