A Bespoke reader caught the dramatic footage today of the space shuttle flight over the city. The above photos were taken by the landmark section of Convent Avenue in Hamilton Heights and shows the shuttle piggybacking a ride over the city. This section of West Harlem located right below 145th Street is one of of the most historically intact neighborhoods in the city and the modern visual of the the shuttle flying over is quite a contrast. Yes, was an awesome sight! I was on Riverside Drive at 155th Street when the shuttle flew over on it's 2nd lap over the city. It's great to know route of the fly over was available to all neighborhoods. The shuttle flight plan was for all to enjoy!
