☞ WALK: Harlem in Bloom 2012
Spring is at it peak in Harlem and some of the most historic blocks in the city are in bloom. The above photos are of the Hamilton Heights Historic District up on Convent Avenue along the low West 140s and those who love long strolls just might want to take a moment to check out nature in action. Other charming spots include the Mount Morris Park Historic District around Lenox by the lower West 120s and the side streets of Sugar Hill in the upper West 140s by St. Nicholas Avenue. Landmark blocks of Strivers Row (138th & 139th, West of ACP/7th Avenue) or Astor Row (130th between 5th and Lenox) are also spots to check out for those who admire distinguished classical architecture combined with the wonders of spring.
