☞ REVIVE: 79 West 127th Restoration

Number 79 West 127th Street looked like a derelict, boarded-up building in the beginning of the year but now things have turned around for the better.  Walking by this corner of Central Harlem just east of Lenox Avenue, we noticed that the facade, windows, and entrance have been restored as of late.  New signs have also been posted up for this rental which apparently consist of 1 bedroom apartments. We kind of wish more developers would restore the original cornice on top of the buildings but at least it's not an eyesore anymore.  Apparently 18 out of 20 units have been rented within the past 6 weeks so this location is really selling out.  More details on the broker site: LINK

  1. Nice to see this once burnt out building that was a home to substance abusers now housing free market individuals with their disposable income and tax dollars, a positive change.

  2. A cornice would not have cost much and made a huge difference to the facade.
