☞ DWELL: Selling out at the Beacon Towers
The Central Harlem cooperative called Beacon Towers has now appeared to have sold out after being on the market for a couple of years. This eight-story development, located at 29 West 138th Street between Lenox and 5th Avenues, is comprised of 73 residences and the last two units are in contract according to Streeteasy: LINK. Apparently the low down payments at 3.5% financed through The State of New York Mortgage Agency (SONYMA) loan program and 25 year tax abatements helped this new construction become a success story in Central Harlem.
