Saturday, September 15th, Beurre & Sell debuts at La Marqueta, 1590 Park Avenue and East 115th Street. A retail bakery called Beurre & Sel (which translates to Salt & Butter) will be opening this Saturday at the La Marqueta market in East Harlem. The Times has an article on the mother & son team who specialize in French sablé cookies and will be debuting there shop over at the historic underpass market at La Marqueta. Expect mostly sweet offerings but apparently there will also be a limited savory assortment. Read more in the NY Times:
