Battle of Harlem Heights Remembered at the Morris-Jumel Mansion, 65 Jumel Terrace between 160th and 161st Street. Before Washington arrived in the heights, the area was know as Harlem Heights and MJM celebrates the battle be a turning point in American history. Learn how to use a quill pen and dress up in colonial costumes. At 1:00PM listen to a presentation by Dr. Philip Briggs and learn about the important role that this battle played in shaping the course of the Revolutionary War.
