A couple of Bespoke readers have noticed activity at the 112th Street kiosk just east of FDB/8th Avenue and sent in some interesting tips. The top photo was taken at the end of last week and shows the crew painting the old newsstand in South Harlem that has been under various stages of renovation since summer started. One can see at the lower image that the new proprietor has chosen a colorful direction for the front facade of this little street shop. Another tip provided was that workers mentioned that the restaurant
5 & Diamond has secured the lease for the space but it is unclear what will be sold there.
A few doors east is the Uptown Veterinary Practice where they understand and welcome pit bulls. My pitty and I recommend them.
