☞ MEET: A Harlem Block Association President
An article in the Columbia Spectator interviews the block association president at West 122nd Street between ACP/7th Avenue and FDB/8th Avenue. Cator Sparks is a fashion journalist about town who happens to also be the president of Block Association 122 which was started in 90s. The group meets once every two months and helps with everything from aiding local kids get to summer camp, finding a lost cat or getting the police involved in crime that's happening in the area. Also pointed out by Mr. Sparks is the fact that people do greet each other on the streets uptown and that more folks should do so when arriving to the neighborhood: LINK
