☞ REVIVE: 23 West 116th Street Construction
Readers have been wondering about what was going on with the construction that was happening over at 23 West 116th Street. It was announced over a year ago that the parcel of land on the north side of West 116th Street between 5th Avenue and Lenox would eventually have a new residential building built on it. The developers of the Kalahari condos across the street plan on building a 12-story market rate building facing the 116th Street side of the block while a 9-story affordable rate building will rise on the 117th Street side. Signs on the site state affordable apartments but from what we have been informed in the past, this will be a mixed income development. More details in our past post: LINK
