A couple of tips have come in that report on the renovations at hand for the building located on the south east corner of FDB/8th Avenue and 115th Street. Apparently developers have set into motion a plan that will finish up the South Harlem building within a year and set up market rate rental apartments. The abandoned building will add on much more needed housing in this part of Harlem and also have some major retail spaces set up on the lower floor to revitalize the street level. Previous plans to sell of the property to make way for a more modern condo conversion did not apparently work out:
