Saturday, December 8th, 6:00PM-8:30PM, Hosting International Coquito Masters 2012 Qualifier Event at The Mink Building, 1361 Amsterdam Avenue, corner of 127th Street, Suite 340. Who makes the best coquito? Coquito is often referred to as Puerto Rican eggnog, but it is a global drink rich in all things coconut. For the past ten years Coquito Masters founder, Deborah Quinones, has been holding an annual coquito making contest that seeks to find the best coquito maker in the region. The event continues to grow each year and is held at community based centers in the tri-state area. Come taste and be the judge of who goes on to the final competition.

 Saturday, December 8th, 8:00PM, Roy Ayers Performs at Ginny's Supper Club, 310 Lenox Avenue at 125th Street.  The legendary Roy Ayers will make an appearance at the Red Rooster's lounge this weekend.  Tickets for $25 may be purchased online: LINK

Sunday, December 9th, 5:00 PM, Sunday Matinees at the Dance Theatre of Harlem, 466 West 152nd Street, between Amsterdam and St. Nicholas Avenues. The Dance Theatre of Harlem has started the Sunday Matinee series once more and features performances from current or visiting dancers accompanied with live music on the second Sunday of each month.
