☞ SHOP: A Year - Around Harlem Farmers Market

A petition has been started to have the Morningside Farmers Market to open for the full year instead of shutting down in early December.  About two hundred more signatures needed before the document can be sent to the appropriate parties:

Due to the popularity of the Morningside Park Farmers Market, Down to Earth Markets (formerly Community Markets) wants to expand it into a year-around farmers market. Currently, the NYC Parks Department permits the market for only 29 days per year. We know the community wants fresh, locally-grown and produced food beyond this limited period of time! Should we be permitted to extend the market, we will resume in our current outdoor location at 110th Street and Manhattan Avenue on Saturday, January 5th, 2013.
