☞ SEE: The Door by Ava DuVernay

Fashion Week is here in New York and we have been looking back at last months European shows for inspiration. The above Miu Miu presentation called The Door was directed by Ava DuVernay and features Gabrielle Union and Alfre Woodard.  We especially like the message because the short film not only displays atmospheric music and clothing but also shows more diversity in its storyline than most fashion houses care to pursue on this side of the pond.  Italian brands appear to be the leader in this trend and we covered a show that featured looks straight out of the Harlem Renaissance last week: LINK
