There are not too many restaurants in East Harlem with that early 20th century ambiance to it but Lexington Social at 103rd Street is the exception to the rule and the New York Times just had a feature on the eatery. Service is apparently friendly enough and the this establishment just north of the 103rd Street Lexington stop is one of the more popular spots in East Harlem since there are not to many spots that provide the vintage vibe that is doing so well in other parts of the city: LINK
