A couple of Bespoke readers mentioned that Boulevard Bistro has opened on Lenox Avenue this past weekend. We past by the corner eatery at 122nd Street on Sunday and signs indeed were up announcing the restaurant's arrival in the Mount Morris Park Historic District. We checked out the space and was pleasantly surprised at the brand new interior with enough classic charm to make it worthy of a brownstone interior. Boulevard Bistro will be serving breakfast everyday starting at 7:00 AM, serves lunch and dinner along with weekend brunch. There is website up now for the new establishment which has also has the menus listed:

So great! Really enjoyed my coffee (we'd already eaten, so only had coffee). Love it!
ReplyDeleteHow typical and sad that yet another restaurant in Harlem opens without a SINGLE vegetation option on their dinner menu. It doesn't take much to make a meal that does not have meat or fish in it -- a little creativity can go a long way. I know a lot of omnivore who do not always want meat or fish in their meals, too.
ReplyDeletePeople say that NY is a food city. But visit LA (and a list of other cities) and you'll find far more restaurants with better (and more inclusive) menus.
Lovely place with nice decor and charming, friendly staff. Pastries were delicious. Has anybody had dinner there yet? A welcome addition!

ReplyDeleteThey do have Pasta Primavera on thier Lunch menu. At worst, you should be able to get some lunch items at dinner.
Just went by this morning and grabbed a delicious coffee and a phenomenal pastry (really--incredible).

ReplyDeleteWent by again today, and they have full breakfast service happening, starting at 7. Windows were open, and it smelled amazing! Got a coffee to go, but plan on swinging by a full meal in the morning.
