☞ QUESTION: Activity at Whole Foods Lot?

Bespoke readers have been sending in tips that there is some activity at the vacant lot that will be home to the new Whole Foods and wanted to know what was going on.  The good news is that we reported all of the DOB paperwork is in place now but what is happening on the said lot at 125th and Lenox is nothing unusual from testing that has been done in previous years.

Since the whole idea of new construction on the site came about, trucks have appeared periodically to do testing and it also looks like the lawn was just mowed also.  Nothing will really be indicative of pending construction until plywood fences come up and the initial excavation machinery appears so we might have to wait a couple of months for this to happen.
