Grub Street dishes on some details of the Lenox Lounge updated that will happening at the original location of iconic club. Folks should expect an opening by the holidays at the end of the year and the likes of John Legend might even do shows. This new version of Lenox Lounge appears to be targeted towards the same crowd as Red Rooster so expect Lenox Avenue to really be the happening spot when everything finishes up in the coming months. I like the articles statement, 'you've got to have a mixed salad,' meaning you want all kinds of interesting people in the room. That is definitely the case with Red Rooster, it gives the spot a positive energy. I do not doubt, another spot that encourages a “mixed salad” will only add to the upper Lenox wildly popular and special night life scene. Hope this all happens behind the iconic red façade that was the signature of Lenox and 125th for so long.
