Another Bespoke reader mentioned that a new eatery was opening up on the border of Morningside Height and Manhattanville. It appears that Flat Top is about ready to startup business at 121st and Amsterdam which is a block south of West Harlem's official border. The classic paneled storefront front in a steel blue color with hand painted signage definitely makes us want to check this spot out but it did not look like it was open yet when we passed by in the afternoon yesterday. Does anyone have any other details on this new restaurant?
When I stopped by last week, I think they said that they hoped to open by mid-July and that the cuisine would be "New American" with a variety of ethnic influences.

The management is related to Jin Ramen, I believe :)
They are open for business now and quite tasty!! :)the fries are really good! hehe
