Number 12 West 120th Street was reduced last year to $2.3 million and the historic townhouse just went into contract a couple of weeks ago. The single-family home is 23 feet wide in total and has approximately 5,000 square foot of space with quite a bit of original detail intact but actually took longer to sell than some of the brownstones further north in Hamilton Heights that are at the same price point.
This Mount Morris Park property has been renovated but some of the finishes might need to be upgraded in some areas for those who want a more period appropriate aesthetic. With that said, the location is pretty central to the express trains on Lenox Avenue, boutique shops and the 125th Street corridor. Also, the house is on the same block that celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson lives on and faces Marcus Garvey Park. More details and photos can be found on the broker site: LINK
