☞ SUPPORT: Harlem Outdoor Cafe Businesses
Even around three years ago, there were not many outdoor cafes in Harlem and now that number has tripled it seems. With Harlem Shake's outdoor seating set up last week, Avenues like FDB, ACP or Lenox have now been populated with attractive alfresco dining areas. The weather is perfect and we locals just have to remember to spend our money uptown for brunch and lunch on the weekends since this is the only way Harlem's new thriving economy will continue to progress further. These great dining spots are also ideal for inviting friends from downtown or Brooklyn to come up to see the new Harlem and the many ways that the neighborhood has been changing.

This is definitely a welcome trend but there is way more than just the action near 125th & Lenox. Along FDB there is the great new space out front of Les Ambassades as well as older places like 5 & Diamond, Bier International, Harlem Food Bar, Cafe Amrita and of course Harlem Tavern. On lower Lenox how about Settepani or the new Boulevard Bistro?
