Walking within the Mount Morris Historic District's landmark blocks, we notice a lot of L-shape stoops but a pair of the townhouses on one particular block feature a distinct curve. These brownstones with the distinct stoops can be found over on 122nd Street just east of Lenox and those who admire historic architecture will definitely appreciate the preservation efforts of the local neighbors. We only know of one other such decorative staircase which is located a couple of blocks north of 125th Street but that one is not landmarked and currently up for sale.
Interesting, but for me nothing beats a classic stoop with massive balusters, hand rails and newel posts.
