We received a tip from a Bespoke reader who mentioned that the chef over at Cantina confirmed a Wednesday opening date but that announcement seems to have been premature. Walking by this corner on ACP/7th Avenue by 112th Street last night, we noticed that the lights were on out front and inside but the space was empty. Chairs were turned up on the tables so we assume that the another opening date will be set. Apparently the said chef is from Dos Toros of Union Square and the cuisine will be Mexican inspired.
