Construction at 92 Morningside might be still hidden under scaffolding and netting but some additional details have been revealed on how the building will be divided up. There will be reportedly 70 units consisting of 2 or 3 bedrooms along with additional luxury rentals added on top. Apparently plans for 3 additional levels are in place and some of the 3 unit bedrooms in those penthouse suites will have cathedral ceilings to match the cathedral view of Morningside Park. We still could not find any renderings but since the developers are from Brooklyn, we hope that they understand that any update to the building should have a restored cornice if the facade is to every look like a market rate prewar. This building needs a cornice so badly, especially with the great masonry details.
