We have been following the progress of the new tapas bar under construction on the corner on Lenox by 131st Street and it appears the interior is finally coming together. Folks should expect a decidedly rustic look with chandeliers as lighting when the new eatery opens according to reports sent in by readers. We have not received much details on the opening date but everything seems to be coming along quickly at this point in time.
This is the site of the Liberation Book Store which had a huge collection of books on African American history. Hated to see it close.
