☞ DRINK: Best Harlem Bar 2013

The Grange on Amsterdam and 141st Street in Hamilton Heights is our choice for Best Bar for 2013.   With its spacious, classic antique interior, The Grange Bar & Eatery is part of the new West Harlem dining scene that started with Harlem Public last year and follows through with exceptional craft beer choices.  A variety of New American offerings are on the menu and the moderately priced restaurant has become an instant local favorite.  Happy Hour has now been introduced from 4:00PM-7:00PM, Monday through Friday.  There will be 3 select craft draft beers and select wines for $6, iced bottles will go for $5:  LINK

  3. Great choice for new bar of the year. Nearby, Mountain Bird gets my vote for under-the-radar new restaurant of the year.

  4. We factor in overall look, quality of offerings and service. The Grange scores consistently high in all three categories so gets our vote for 2013.

  5. Anonymous not sure that feedback on Cecil's is everybody's view. I find the menu and decor a little 90s - modern minimalist and wierd fusion cuisine. Love Minton's but that place is a desitnation restaurant / bar not a neighborhood spot given its price point and dress code - not a place you can go to a couple times a week ..

  9. I can't decide between the Grange and Mountain Bird. Both so good in their own way.
