☞ EAT: Cheri will Open in Early 2014

The table d'hôte restaurant called Cheri had planned to open in December but folks should expect the new establishment on Lenox Avenue to now debut somewhere in January 2014.  This corner of the Mount Morris Park Historic District by 121st Street has been picking up in the past year since Barawine, Harlem Shake and Boulevard Bistro have all set up shop nearby.  We have already previewed the well appointed interior space so what is taking so long?  Some delays involving final paperwork is usually the culprit from what we can gather since the French eatery has been ready to go for the past month or so.  Stay tuned.
