The former Bearded Lady cafe is almost ready to open and has a couple of new things going on. First of all, there is a name change to Double Dutch Espresso which will also come with a new logo. Then there is a new storefront that was just installed at the corner of 118th Street and FDB/8th Avenue last night. We had a sneak peek of the interior and it looks to be about ninety percent done at this point. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming days.
MUCH better name. Yeah, there may have been history to the previous name, but it was still odd and a little off-putting. This is fun and reflects the neighborhoods history.
