DWELL: 227 LENOX INCREASES PRICE

The new owners at 227 Lenox have only partially renovated the space but now want $3.5 million for the building that is currently still under scaffolding.  Last year, the new price arrived at $3.2 million which might have been a stretch for the condition the 26-foot-wide townhouse was in.  With that said, it is a large property within our Number 1 neighborhood for 2013 but buyers still mostly pay top dollar for something that is move in ready.  For those with the cash and another half million to finish things up, here is the listing on  Streeteasy: LINK
