EAT: BREAKFAST AT HARLEM SHAKE
We stopped by Harlem Shake at 124th and Lenox this past weekend and tried out one of the breakfast specials which was surprising in a nice way. For $8.25, one can get a chicken and waffle meal with a side of butter, maple syrup and fresh fruit which was not bad at all. We prefer our fried chicken with the bone included but this tender cutlet had some great seasoning and hit the mark for this reasonable price point. Other options such as Shrimp and Grits are on the menu and the low prices will have us waking up early to see if they are just as good.

a neighbour told me that he and his friend were asked to pay before they were served (they were sitting outside). Has anyone else had that experience?
ReplyDeleteYou order and pay at the counter first. Then they give you one of those buzzer disk. You sit down and when the disk buzzes, you go to the counter to pick up your order.
ReplyDeleteThat makes more sense; perhaps it was not explained correctly to my neighbours as they were quite insulted and vowed never to go back.
ReplyDeleteHarlem Shake is great for breakfast. I am definitely adding it to my breakfast meeting locales. -chet whye
