Considering Harlem's rich Jewish history, it is somewhat perplexing that Matzo Ball soup is relatively missing on any of uptown's menu's these day. With that said, we did discover that Mountain Bird has had a Matzo Ball soup on the menu all week in observation of Passover and will also have a matzo cheesecake available for desert. Reservations are still a must for the tiny restaurant on 145th Street between FDB and ACP so make sure to call in advance:
