Coffee Grinder @ Lenox Coffee, 60 West 129th, east of Lenox Avenue. Say it isn't so but the last Coffee Grinder will be happening tonight and Harlem's monthly Thursday LGBT party will take a break for some time until maybe another incarnation comes about. DJ Bill Coleman will be on hand for the final fete and the lovely Shanna will be at the bar. Those who have supported this neighborhood night should come out and say goodbye to John for doing such a great job promoting this event (and for getting married soon!). Future socials will be arriving at possibly another Harlem venue but for now, this will the last of such events north of 125th Street.
Why is this ending? Does anyone know?
ReplyDeleteAs mentioned in the piece, the promoter is getting married and moving on. Another promoter might come along and start things up but nothing has come together yet.
