There are not a lot of murals in Harlem these days but the local schools have been excellent at decorating their public spaces with great artwork. The Dream mural on West 138th Street just west of Amsterdam is a good example that has layers of color and form that would make Picasso proud. We never really stopped and looked at this one before but it is definitely one of our favorites on the west side. One of the other great new murals in Harlem can be found over by the Corner Social on Lenox:
