The entire storefront of 452 West 145th Street is being reconstructed as far as we can see but there are no clues on what is arriving at this location between Amsterdam and Convent Avenue. From what we can see, the front doors seem to be more of an upgrade to what was there previously but it is too early to tell what type of establishment will debut at this corner of the historic district. Does anyone have any additional information to share about this space?
I walked by when they had the gate up a few days ago and it looked very nice. Could be a nice space for a gallery, or even regular retail--I believe there is garden space.
ReplyDeleteA new cafe I hope. Anyone know anything about the building on the southwest corner of 145 and Convent? Such a large building to be vacant so long.
ReplyDeleteThat building is owned by Convent Baptist Church, and as such is off the tax roll, and just slowly deteriorating..... Wish they would do something with it.....
