It was
revealed a couple of months ago that Banana Republic will be opening an outlet store on 125th Street and things now seem to be progressing quite quickly. Plywood went up about a week ago and now the bright yellow Banana Republic logo has been posted right next to The Apollo Theatre. A Gap outlet already exists across the street and a standard Old Navy storefront is close by also. Gap Inc's takeover of Harlem now seems like it will be complete with its three core brands taking over 125th Street.
