We were heading north on Lenox a couple of days back and noticed that some construction revealed hand-painted signage at a storefront by 141st Street. Hazel & R.C. seems to be a charming name for a store and could possibly have been a small grocer before those generic commercial bodegas took over. Looking at the inside of the space, it appears a laundromat will be arriving soon so nothing quite as intriguing is happening in the near future.
