SEE: A SECRET GARDEN IN THE HEIGHTS
It's been some time since we checked out the garden in the back of the Morris-Jumel Mansion on top of Sugar Hill at 161st Street and we were pleasantly surprised at the gorgeous transformation out back. There is a small sundial at the center of green space surrounded by a stone walkways, urns with potted flowering plants and layers of foliage providing shade on a bright day. This would make a great outdoor event space during warmer seasons but will probably be not so picturesque once the cold settles in so enjoy while it last!

ReplyDeleteI live around the corner from the garden and it is truly beautiful! There are many in the area that really take care of the garden and make it into a magical place. I love it there!
